Does this sound familiar?

The loops that eat your time and energy

Thoughts that intrude

Unwanted, distressing thoughts that keep barging in no matter how hard you push them away.

Rituals that demand time

Checking, washing, counting, arranging. You know it’s a lot, and skipping it feels impossible.

Doubt on a loop

Did I lock it? Is it clean? Am I sure? Certainty never quite arrives.

Needing it just right

Order and symmetry that aren’t preferences so much as demands.

Reassurance that doesn’t stick

Asking, googling, confessing. Relief lasts minutes, then the question is back.

Hiding it well

Many people with OCD look fine from the outside while fighting it all day. Effort was never the problem.

OCD is treatable, and having intrusive thoughts says nothing about who you are. An evaluation works out what you’re dealing with and what will actually help.
What to expect

Thorough care, from evaluation to follow-up

Whether this is your first psychiatric appointment or your fifth provider, the work starts with understanding the whole picture.

In-depth psychiatric evaluation

A real conversation about your history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. Unhurried, and at your pace.

Careful differential diagnosis

OCD often overlaps with anxiety, depression, and tic disorders, and intrusive thoughts show up in several conditions. Naming it correctly matters.

Medication management

If medication makes sense, I prescribe and adjust it with you, monitoring closely and explaining every decision.

Genetic-informed options

When clinically appropriate, Genomind pharmacogenetic testing helps match treatment to how your body responds.

What patients say about working with Evan

5.0 rating on Google

I came to Evan during a challenging transition in my late twenties when I was struggling with structure, focus, and figuring out my next steps. He gave me practical tools to better manage my focus, create structure, and redirect my energy in a more productive way. What I appreciated most was how comfortable, respected, and understood I felt throughout the process.

HHelenaGoogle review

Evan has been my NP for over 6 months and has been nothing but professional and competent. He's level-headed, on-time, and reliable. For anyone looking for an NP, you would be a fool NOT to use Evan; respectfully.
